All-Time NFL Draft Steals
All-Time NFL Draft Steals

#19 – Rudi Johnson, Cincinnati Bengals (Auburn)
2001: Fourth round, Pick 100

Early on the second day of the 2001 draft, the Bengals drafted their running back of the future. After the disgruntled Corey Dillon left town, Johnson took over to become one of the league’s most dependable backs. Among the running backs selected ahead him: Michael Bennett (Wisconsin, 27th to the Vikings), Anthony Thomas (Michigan, 38th to the Bears), and James Jackson (Miami, 65th to the Browns).
