College Football's Biggest Disappointments of 2007

#14 – Jarrett Dillard’s streak ends

Rice football normally doesn’t have a lot to celebrate, but they do have something right now in wide receiver Jarrett Dillard, who entered the 2007 season with a streak of 15 consecutive games with a touchdown catch, just three shy of Larry Fitzgerald’s record of 18. In Rice’s season opener against I-AA Nicholls State, not only was Dillard held out of the endzone, but Rice lost 16-14.
