#30 – Boston Celtics
Jason Thompson, PF, Rider
Lenape High School (Mt. Laurel, NJ)

The Celtics got some quality minutes out of aging veterans P.J. Brown and Sam Cassell in the second half of the season. They could use this pick to replace one of them. Thompson has a lot of upside. He could stand to get stronger, but he has great size and mobility, which would allow him to be a good defender early in his career as his offensive game develops.
