Top 20 Football Factories in Texas
#20 Galena Park North Shore. The Mustangs consistently produce quality players and none was more heralded than Corey Redding. Named the USA Today's Defensive Player of the Year in 1998, Redding had a standout career at the University of Texas. During his four years there, he was a two-time All-Big 12 Conference selection and played in every game, including a string of 35 consecutive starts on the defensive line. Dallas Cowboys Center Andre Gurode also graduated from North Shore back in 1996.
