College Football Coaching Changes for 2008

#18 – Jerry Kill, Northern Illinois
Replacing Joe Novak (retired)

Kill (right) makes the trip north from Southern Illinois to NIU, where he faces a tough task in replacing the very popular Joe Novak. Novak retired after 12 seasons with the Huskies and had seven consecutive winning seasons before last year’s injury-plagued 2-10 campaign. Kill put together a 56-32 at SIU, and his strong recruiting ties in the Midwest should serve him well at NIU.
