#16 – Steve Fairchild, Colorado State
Replacing Sonny Lubick (fired)

A former Ram quarterback and assistant coach, Fairchild returns home for his first head coaching job. He has been in the NFL as an assistant with the Bills and Rams since 2001. He was Colorado State’s quarterbacks coach from 1993-96 and the team’s offensive coordinator for four seasons after that. The team won five conference championships during his eight seasons as an assistant, and Ram fans are hoping for similar results with him leading the way.
