Texas High School Quarterbacks to Watch in 2008
Texas High School Quarterbacks to Watch in 2008

#19 – Connor Wood, Houston Second Baptist

There could be a hidden gym in the Houston area private school ranks, as Connor Wood is one of the state’s rising quarterbacks. The junior is 6-foot-4 and just over 200 pounds, and he has shown a strong arm this summer in 7-on-7. He threw for 2,200 yards and 24 touchdowns as a sophomore, and will certainly be a player to watch over the next two years.

'It's a great opportunity to showcase our program, university and Ann Arbor to a primetime viewing audience. This also adds a new chapter to the storied rivalry between our two great programs.'
