#1 – Lache Seastrunk, Temple

That’s right. We went with an underclassman as our top running back to watch in Texas. The recruiting rankings for 2010 won’t come out for a while, but when they do, you may see Seastrunk very high on the list not just in Texas, but in the nation. As a sophomore at Temple, he averaged 11.8 yards per carry to finish the season with 1,532 yards and 19 touchdowns. He has rare quickness and speed, and he’ll likely have the luxury of committing to whichever school he wants to next year.
