Most Disappointing College Football Coaching Eras

1. Bill Callahan – Nebraska – (2004-2007) Why? Because the 5th choice to be the head coach of the Cornhuskers, who was coming off being fired at the Oakland Raiders, never produced. Because in four years Nebraska went a disappointing 15-17 in conference. Because Callahan was 0-10 against teams ranked higher than 20th. Because he coached the program to its only losing seasons in 45 years. Because he let Frank Solich (whose firing was questioned by many) have the last laugh.
