The Pit

"The Pit has a reputation as one of the most hostile arenas in the country for visiting teams due to dark lighting and often painfully high decibel levels. For one game, the noise reached 125 decibels, just short of the threshold of pain. Visiting squads are often forced to develop hand signals to communicate over the deafening roar."

Funny Matchup!!

Pitt vs. "The Pit"
My vote is for "The Pit" of course. No louder arena in the country with over 18,000 fans any given night. Remember, NC State fans should highly vote for "The Pit". Something magical occured there 26 years ago in the 37-foot-below street level builduing.
Pittsburg has a nice facility in the Petersen Events Center-good fans too, however, The Pit is in a cl!@#$% of its own!
