In a good early season matchup, the Irving MacArthur Cardinals featuring standout guard Rickey Scott, traveled to Richardson to face the 14th ranked Richardson Pearce Mustangs. Scott would pour in 21 points for the Cardinals but would come up just short as the Mustangs hold for the 74-71 victory. >> Edit
