North Texas High School Football Week 12 Playoffs Round 2: Tyler John Tyler vs. Lake Highlands,

The Tyler John Tyler Lions traveled to Richardson to face the Lake Highlands Wildcats in round two playoff battle. This would be a very entertaining game as both teams would light up the scoreboard. The Wildcats' Desmond Roland, who has a scholarship offer from Arkansas would have a big game both on the ground and receiving, but the Lions would be too much in the end as they get a late touchdown and go on to win 53-46. >> Edit

Florida remains atop BCS poll

The Gators host Florida State in their final hurdle until the SEC Championship game.
Florida remains atop the latest Bowl Championship Series standings, as the top seven teams kept their spots from the previous week.

While the standings remained the same, the space between the top two teams shrank. This week, the Gators (11-0) garnered a .9664 average while Alabama (11-0) is second at .9614. Last week, Florida had a .9833 average and the Crimson Tide ranked second with a .9521 average, with that number being computed by averaging the percentage totals of the Harris Interactive poll, USA Today poll and computer rankings.

Florida and Alabama both won big this weekend and have one final hurdle remaining until the SEC Championship Game on December 5, which figures to serve as a de facto national semifinal if both stay undefeated until that date. The Gators host Florida State on Saturday, while the Crimson Tide visit Auburn for their annual Iron Bowl matchup. ... Continue
