Eagles still searching for first win

Dwayne Priest is leading the team on the ground with 597 yards and four scores.
Still searching for their first win on the season the Eastern Michigan Eagles will battle the Toledo Rockets this Friday night in a Mid- American Conference showdown at The Glass Bowl.

It has been a season to forget at Eastern Michigan, as the team has gone winless through its first 10 contests. The last time the Eagles were on the field, they were pounded by Western Michigan, 35-14. The loss to the Broncos dropped EMU to 0-6 in league play this year, and since the start of the 2006 campaign the Eagles are just 6-23 in MAC action.

As for the Rockets, they have lost three straight contests, including an embarrassing, 56-17 setback to Central Michigan this past Wednesday. It was the sixth loss on the year for Toledo, which is now just 2-4 in conference play. Toledo will close out its season on the road next Friday against Bowling Green.
