Nevada High School Basketball: Findlay Preps Cory Joseph,
Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nevada has only played three seasons of high school basketball. But that hasn't stopped Findlay from becoming perhaps the top "basketball factory" in the nation -- a destination where top athletes from all over North America want to come and play. Virginia center Sene suspended three games
Virginia sophomore center Assane Sene has been suspended for the first three games of the regular season for conduct detrimental to the team.
'We have expectations for the individuals in our program that Assane has not met,' Cavaliers coach Tony Bennett said. 'He will not play in our closed scrimmage with St. John's on Sunday and in the first three games of the regular season, but will practice with the team. My hope is Assane will learn from this situation as we move forward.'
The 7-foot Sene, who averaged 2.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and paced the team with 35 blocked shots last season, will miss Virginia's season-opener with Longwood on November 13, a game at South Florida three days later and a November 19 home game with Rider. ... Continue
