Arizona's Parrom sidelined with broken foot

Tucson, AZ (Sports Network) - University of Arizona freshman guard/forward Kevin Parrom will miss 4-to-8 weeks due to a stress fracture in his left foot.

The 6-foot-6, 205-pound swingman averaged eight points, 2.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in Arizona's two exhibition contests.

Huskies continue five-game homestand


Isaiah Thomas is shooting .568 from the floor en route to 24.7 ppg.
The 14th-ranked Washington Huskies continue a five-game homestand to begin the 2009-10 season, as they welcome the San Jose State Spartans to Seattle for a non-conference clash from Bank of America Arena.

Lorenzo Romar's Huskies opened up the season by hosting the Athletes In Action Classic this past week and swept the event with wins over Wright State (74-69), Belmont (96-78) and most recently, Portland State (111-55).

George Nessman's Spartans are also undefeated on the young season, although they have played just one game. On Monday, SJSU opened the season with a resounding 89-63 rout of William Jessup. ... Continue
