Hawaii F Amis out indefinitely

Honolulu, HI (Sports Network) - University of Hawaii senior forward Bill Amis will be sidelined indefinitely with a foot injury.

Amis suffered the injury midway through the first half of an exhibition win over BYU-Hawaii on Thursday night.

A two-year starter, Amis led the team in rebounding (6.4 rpg), field goal percentage (.468) and blocks (41) last season while finishing second on the squad in scoring at 10.7 ppg

Hawaii opens the regular season November 13 versus Southern Utah in the Outrigger Hotels Rainbow Classic.
