General News Memphis QB Bass out rest of season |
Memphis, TN (Sports Network) - University of Memphis sophomore quarterback Tyler Bass will have season-ending surgery Tuesday to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder.
The surgery on the non-throwing shoulder will be performed by Dr. Barry Phillips and Dr. Barney Freeman of the Campbell Clinic.
In four games this season, Bass connected on 53-of-81 passes for 673 yards with six touchdowns and four interceptions.
