Minnesota vs Texas will play Football Series

Reports out of Minnesota say the Gophers agreed to a home and home football series against the Texas Longhorns beginning in 2011. Reports out of Austin say it's pre-mature right now. Butch Worley the associate athletic Director who puts the UT football schedules together said they are talking to several schools about a home and home schedule for 2011. Texas has openings on it's non-conference schedule beginning in 2011. Minnesota head coach Tim Brewster, has ties to the Longhorn program having coached under Mack Brown. Coach Brewster told reporters that the deal has been finalized.
