Rutgers retains Hill for now Fred Hill has a 47-77 overall record during his four seasons at Rutgers. Piscataway, NJ (Sports Network) - Rutgers University will retain the services of men's head basketball coach Fred Hill for the upcoming season. The school on Wednesday issued a brief release from director of intercollegiate athletics Tim Pernetti, saying that Hill will be back despite a 15-17 record this past season and a 14th-place finish in the Big East with a 5-13 conference mark. 'Fred Hill is under contract as our men's head basketball coach,' Pernetti said. 'We had a productive meeting and look forward to working together to build the program.'   continue>> ...
