National Signing Day: Arizona Gets WR Recruit Dewayne Peace

South Grand Prairie, TX - With National Signing Day less than 48 hours away, it's time to put the finishing touches on this year's recruiting class.  While that means sticking to a long time commitment for some, it's a chance to reconsider for others.

For Dewayne Peace, it was a tough call.  One of the top players in a talent rich state, Peace had countless offers.  A versatile athlete with a variety of skills, Peace developed a fondess for Michigan.  But after careful consideration, the wide receiver switched to Arizona.

It wasn't easy, but the opportunity for immediate playing time at a program on the rise, was enough to entice the 6'0'' senior.

Among other schools that offered Peace: Oklahoma State, Kansas, and Colorado State.

Broncos aim to become bowl eligible

Tim Hiller has played very well throughout the year.
The Western Michigan Broncos will try become bowl eligible when they host the Ball State Cardinals Tuesday night at Waldo Stadium.

It has been a nightmare of a season for the Cardinals, who close out their campaign on Tuesday. Ball State has lost 10 of its 11 matchups this season, and heads into this game with a three-game losing skid. The most recent loss was an embarrassing, 35-3 setback to Central Michigan. It has been an amazing turn of events for Ball State, which finished last year with a 12-2 mark, and a perfect 8-0 ledger in Mid-American Conference action.

The Broncos head into this contest fresh off a 35-14 victory over Eastern Michigan. It was the fifth win on the year for WMU, which is now 4-3 in conference action. With a win Tuesday the Broncos will become bowl eligible for the fourth time in the last five years.
