Stakes are high for Keller and Fossil Ridge

You definitely did not want to trade places with Fossil Ridge head football coach Tony Baccarini in September and for most of October.

His defense was unable to stop people. He lost multiple players to injuries. His offense was OK, but really was neutralized because it could not keep up with the other team. Then Baccarini canceled a game with Flower Mound Marcus because of bad weather.

In short, the Panthers were a mess.

They were 0-6 to begin the season, had dropped their first four District 5-5A games and were left for dead.

But there is a rule when it comes to writing a team?s obituary. Make sure its fate is officially sealed before you write it. Read more
