National Signing Day: Ussery Signs With Colorado

Terdema Ussery of Dallas St. Mark's is a player that can do so many things well on the football field. Now he will have the chance to continue making magic happen after committing to Colorado.

The 6-foot-3, 182-pound wide receiver says he liked the Buffaloes coaching staff and the players he met while on an official visit were great. He also says head coach Dan Hawkins has developed a good family atmosphere in Boulder.

While at St. Mark's Ussery missed some time after suffering a concussion during his senior year. He still managed to get 540 yards receiving and 4 touchdowns. During his junior year, he racked up 431 yards receiving and 5 touchdowns.

Coaches like the fact that Ussery has great hands and toughness, and plays and runs under control. He also uses his size to his advantage, being able to out jump defenders or shield them from the ball.

His father is Terdema L. Ussery II, the President and CEO of the Dallas Mavericks.

Ussery was also being looked at by California, Wake Forest, Arizona, Kansas and Harvard.
